Red screen / Overheat Error: (include screenshots)
Red Error Screen with COM messages
Is there an error flashing at the bottom of the screen saying COM1 or COM2 or alternating between the two? Take a picture of the screen and all messages.
If COM2 Error appears:
- Check the moisture sensor on the back wall of the vacuum chamber.
- Unplug it and then replug it back in.
- See if the COM2 stops flashing on the screen.
- If it persists, contact P4L Support for help.
If COM1 Error appears:

Red Screen 0xF01F without COM errors flashing:
- Remove the food and place it in the freezer.
- Allow the Cube to return to room temperature.
- Turn on Cube and go to Test Screen
- Watch the temperature under the FREEZER button for 2 minutes to see if the temperature rises more than 2 degrees.
- Turn on the heater.
- Somewhere between 130°F - 140°F, the heater button will turn off (at about 5 minutes).
- Wait 30 minutes and then repeat step #5 & #6.
If the red screen appears again contact P4L Support. If it does not, try running your food again.
Red Screen 0xF02F without COM errors flashing:
- Remove the food and place it in the freezer.
- Allow the Cube to return to room temperature.
- Turn on Cube and go to Test Screen
- Unplug and remove the shelf.
- Look at the temperature under the FREEZER button.
- If the temperature reading is more than 20° degrees different from what your room temperature is, contact P4L Support. If not, attempt to run another batch.
Red Screen 0xF03F without COM errors flashing:
