Are you looking for a great on the go breakfast? These cereal bars are easy to make, versatile, economical, and delicious. They are perfect for outdoor adventures! They can be eaten as a cereal bar while on the go, or drop them into a bowl, add a water and you have cold cereal and milk. There are literally hundreds of combination possibilities.

Ingredients

Cold Cereal
Milk
Cream, Coffee Creamer or Yogurt
Fruit: Fresh, frozen or freeze dried fruit may be used.

Instructions

1. Lay out Prep4Life tray dividers on top of silicone mats in Prep4Life freeze dryer trays.

2. Add fruit and cereal of choice to prepared trays.

3. Pour milk, yogurt or cream over fruit and cereal. (Liquid should thoroughly cover the fruit and cereal. This is what binds all of the ingredients together.) We have found that using a combination of 90% milk and 10% sugar-free creamer creates a great consistency.

4. Cover trays with CUBE freeze dryer tray lids and pre-freeze in regular freezer.

5. Once completely frozen, insert into the CUBE freeze dryer and process using  frozen mode.

6. Bag and store. (Or at least try too. They are so delicious; they may get eaten before you can add them to your storage!

*NOTE: Due to the density the liquid and solid ingredients create, these may take longer than other foods to process.
