There is nothing that compares to the taste of homemade pasta! These Egg Noodles practically melt in your mouth. Add them to your favorite soup or casserole and your guests will be raving about them.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups all-purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 4 whole Eggs
Instructions
- Mix Flour with Salt. Place the mixture on a clean surface or in a large mixing bowl.
- Create a well in the center of the Flour pile.
- Crack the Eggs into the well.
- Using a fork, gently beat the Eggs and gradually start incorporating the Flour from the edges of the well.
- As the mixture comes together, start kneading it with your hands.
- If the dough is too dry, you can add a little bit of water until you get a dough consistency.
- Knead dough for about 8-10 minutes. (Until the dough is smooth and elastic.) If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. If it to dry, add a bit more water.
- Roll the dough out into a thin sheet (about 1/8 inch thick.)
- Dust the rolled dough with flour and and roll the sheet into a cylinder.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the cylinder into strips of your desired width.
- Unroll the strips and gently shake to separate.
- Add noodles to liquid and and cook until done (about 3-5 minutes.)
