These cookies taste just like your favorite nostalgic popsicle. A decadent citrus burst, paired with the perfect amount of vanilla, combine to make this delicious soft and chewy cookie. These cookies are the ideal treat for any get together, or just a sweet afternoon snack!

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbls butter, softened
  • 1 white cake mix 
  • 1 (3 oz.) box orange Jell-o
  • 2 Tbls freeze dried oranges (ground into powder) or 2 Tbls orange zest
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 

Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add white cake mix and Jell-o and mix thoroughly. 

Beat in freeze dried oranges and eggs. Mix in flour until fully combined. Lightly fold in chocolate chips. 

Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and white sugar. 

Form the dough into 1 ½ inch balls. Roll each ball in the sugar mixture and then place on a lined or greased cookie sheet.

 

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
